  • What is the difference between a Balayage and a Full Foil?
A full foil is a full head a of highlights going from roots to ends. A balayage is blended in to the root, leaving a blended natural lived in look.
  • How do I care for my fashion color?
Only use sulfate free shampoo. Do not use any other shampoo on fashion colored hair. Use only on the scalp or where “natural” colors are. Use a smaller amount of shampoo than normal, since you will only need to use it on the scalp. The less you wash, the longer your hair color will last. You can still get your hair wet and use a conditioner as needed, but ideally, you would shampoo no more than twice a week. You can use dry shampoo if your hair is on the oily side! Wash your hair in ICE COLD water. If it’s not uncomfortable, it’s not cold enough. Limit your heat tool use, when you do use it make sure you’re applying a heat protectant. Over use of heat tools without heat protectant can cause your hair to fade faster **Fashion colors WILL fade. They are NOT permanent color** If you have hard/well water please consider getting a SPRITE shower head filter as hard water will strip out your new fashion color
  • What is a color correction service?
Color correction is a professional hair service designed to fix or adjust hair color that hasn't turned out as expected. Whether you're dealing with an unwanted shade, uneven color, or a previous color application that didn’t achieve the desired result, color correction can help restore your hair to a more flattering and natural look. It is often a complex and time-consuming process that requires a skilled colorist to carefully assess and correct the color.
  • How do I know what color service to book?
All over color: One single process color. Example: All over brown, copper, deep red, etc. Balayage: Lived in color blended in to your roots so you have a seamless transition from your color to your roots, perfect for those who want a low maintenance color. Foil/highlights: Traditional foiled highlights going from roots to ends
  • What's the difference between a full and a partial?
A full foil involves the application of foils throughout the entire head, covering the hair from the nape of the neck to the front hairline, including all sections in between. This technique provides a comprehensive and uniform distribution of highlights or color. A partial foil targets the top half of the hair, typically focusing on the "Mohawk" section along with the sides. This approach offers a more concentrated effect on the upper layers, creating a natural, lighter appearance with less coverage.
  • Why choose professional hair products from licensed professionals?
When it comes to caring for your hair, the products you use play a crucial role in achieving healthy, vibrant results. While drugstore products may seem convenient or affordable, they often can't match the quality and effectiveness of professional-grade products. Here's why buying professional hair products from licensed professionals is a smarter choice: 1. Higher Quality Ingredients Professional hair products are formulated with superior ingredients that are specifically designed to target hair concerns like dryness, damage, and color preservation. These products are often free from harsh chemicals, offering gentler care that nourishes and strengthens your hair. 2. Personalized Recommendations Licensed professionals, like hairstylists and colorists, have in-depth knowledge of hair types and conditions. When you purchase products from them, you're receiving tailored advice based on your unique hair needs. This ensures that you're investing in the right products for your hair, rather than relying on general-purpose formulations that may not be effective for your specific needs. 3. Better Results Because professional products are crafted to a higher standard, they often deliver more noticeable, longer-lasting results. Whether you're looking for smoother texture, enhanced shine, or better color longevity, professional-grade products tend to outperform those found in drugstores, providing your hair with the care it deserves. 4. Expert Guidance & Education When you buy from a licensed professional, you not only get access to top-tier products but also expert guidance on how to use them correctly. A knowledgeable stylist can show you how to apply the products effectively, ensuring you get the most out of your purchase and maintain healthy hair in the long term. 5. Safety and Reliability Licensed professionals are trained to understand the potential side effects of various products. When purchasing from a drugstore, you may not always have the same level of assurance about a product's safety or suitability for your hair type. Professional products, on the other hand, are rigorously tested to meet industry standards, offering you peace of mind. 6. The Risk of Product Diversion Product diversion refers to the practice of unauthorized distributors selling professional-grade products outside of authorized channels, such as through drugstores or online marketplaces. These products may be past their expiration dates, improperly stored, or even counterfeit. Purchasing diverted products not only compromises the effectiveness of the product, but it could also pose risks to your hair and scalp. By buying directly from a licensed professional, you ensure that you’re receiving authentic, high-quality products that have been handled and stored properly. 7. Supporting Your Stylist's Expertise By purchasing professional products from your stylist, you're supporting their continued education and business. Stylists carefully select and recommend products they believe will provide the best results for you, creating a mutually beneficial relationship that enhances your overall hair experience.
